- Vincenti & Sons, the leading distributor of food and spirit brands in Lebanon, organized exclusive Master Class sessions guided by the brand’s International representative, Mr. Scott Dickson, to launch Glen Scotia Single Malt Whisky for the first time in Lebanon.
The event took place on the 29th and 30th of March and 3 different sessions were held per day, each dedicated for VIPs, traders, connoisseurs, prominent media representatives, and bloggers.
Glen Scotia, considered to be a connoisseur’s favorite, is one of the last three working distilleries surviving in Campbeltown, which at one time rivaled Speyside for the number of distilleries and output of single malt whisky.
During the master classes, Mr. Scott Dickson in collaboration with The Cask & Barrel gave all attendees the chance to be the first to taste and learn about the Brand’s famous 3 original malts in Lebanon: the Double Cask and the 15-Year-Old, both designed to reflect the originality of Campbeltown single malt whisky styles, and the Victoriana, considered to be an expression of the true Glen Scotia Distillery style.
All attendees were also treated to the special tasting of 2 unique single casks: Glen Scotia 16-year-old heavily peated and Glen Scotia 26-year-old, which are bottled exclusively for The Cask & Barrel.
The long-awaited Glen Scotia launch impressed all attendees, and bloggers, among others, were covering the event live on their social media pages, expressing how they are impatiently waiting for The Cask & Barrel’s next surprise.
