For another consecutive year, BeitMisk, under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and in partnership with Banque Libano Francaise, launched the third edition of the highly esteemed Summer Misk Festival on Thursday April 21, at the Ministry.
The panel included His Excellency Mr. Michel Pharaon – Minister of Tourism, Mr. Georges Zard Abou Jaoudé – Chairman and General Manager of Beitmisk, Mrs. Sarah Manoukian – Director of the Festival and Mr. Paul Aoun: Consultant at GZA Group.
This year’s Summer Misk Festival will inaugurate the summer holidays yet again with an impressive lineup, bringing four eclectic nights that appeal to different audiences from across Lebanon and the region.
H.E Minister Pharaon showed his support to the festival: “I would like to welcome Mr. Georges Zard Abou Jaoude, Mrs. Sarah and Mr. Paul to the ministry of Tourism, which is home to all those who love art, tourism, culture, heritage and reconstruction. I believe that BeitMisk has become one of the development pillars in the Metn region. In addition, and thanks to exceptional initiatives and efforts, this festival has become, in only three short years, one of the most important festivals in the country. We would like once again to reiterate our support to those initiatives that help Lebanon overcome the bleak prevailing atmosphere and that serve Lebanon’s interest.”

On June 30th, the winner and the stars of MBC’s the Voice 2016 will take the stage to perform timeless classics in Laylet Tarab. Directed by Jean Marie Riachi, Nidaa’ Sharara, Abboud Barmada, Radwan Sadek, Hamzah Al Fadlawi, and Walaa’ Al Jundi will present a magical repertoire alongside 30 musicians.
On July 1st, the Summer Misk stage will welcome 10-time Grammy-Award winner Arturo Sandoval, an iconic figure in the world of Cuban jazz.
On July 2nd, talented British pop artist and one of today’s most demanded singers John Newman is set to perform his top-charting hits.
Finally, on July 3rd, for the second consecutive year, The Beirut International Comedy showcase will feature 5 of the funniest stand up comedians from across the globe alongside Lebanon’s funniest talents and hosted by Virgin Radio Lebanon’s Anthony Salameh.
Over the past years, Summer Misk has proved itself as a class act and has grown into a main player among festivals happening in the country and the region.
Now that the exciting lineup has been revealed and our calendars have been marked, anticipation is sure to build up, as the date gets closer to this year’s edition of Summer Misk Festival.
