April 7, 2025. The Government of Spain has put up for public auction 2 Ferrari (575M Maranello and Testarrosa F512TR) at a starting price of 150 euros each, and 1 Aston Martin DBS at a starting price of 4700 euros. At this moment the bidding is between 21.000 and 3000 euros.
The three vehicles come from assets seized from drug traffickers and are being held in a warehouse in the Spanish city of Coslada, near Madrid. The auction is being held electronically on the Escrapalia portal. Any individual or legal entity may participate in accordance with the terms and conditions of the auction, and by subscribing to the portal free of charge.
-Ferrari 575M Maranello. Launched in 2002, it succeeded the legendary 550 Maranello and was a refinement in all aspects: more power, better aerodynamics and advanced technology. With only 2,056 units produced with manual gearbox, its exclusivity is indisputable, becoming an object of desire for Ferrari collectors.
It has a 5.75 L (5748 cc) V12 engine; a power output of 515 hp (508 HP) at 7,250 rpm; a top speed of 325 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 4.2 seconds.
-Ferrari Testarossa F512TR. It is a significant evolution of the iconic Ferrari Testarossa, introduced in 1991. This improved version incorporated notable changes in design, performance and mechanics, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the history of the Italian brand.
Between 1991 and 1994, Ferrari produced approximately 2,261 units of the 512TR. This version is especially valued by enthusiasts and collectors due to its balance between enhanced performance and classic Testarossa design.
It has a 12-cylinder engine in V at 180° (flat) 4,943 cc; with a power output: 428 hp at 6,750 rpm. It reaches a top speed of 314 km/h, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
-Aston Martin DBS. The ultimate expression of the British Grand Tourer. Introduced in 2007 and produced until 2012, it replaced the Vanquish S and became world famous as James Bond’s car in “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace”.
It was presented in 2007 and began production in 2008, being the successor to the Vanquish S and a more aggressive version of the DB9. Its production was limited to 3,400 units, ensuring its status as an exclusive vehicle.
It integrates a 6.0L V12 naturally aspirated engine with an output of 517 hp (510 hp). It reaches a top speed of 307 km/h (193 mph) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds.
Open until April 10
The auction will conclude on April 10. All those interested in making an on-site visit to see the vehicles will be able to do so on April 8 and 9 in the Spanish city of Coslada (Madrid), by registering through the link shown in each lot.
A bidding document has been made available to potential bidders, who must deposit the required guarantee prior to the auction to participate. The purpose of these actions is to ensure the correct operation of this auction. Once the auction is over, it will be verified that the identification documentation and the responsible declaration of the winner to be awarded are correct.
The vehicles are unencumbered, and have been previously analyzed in detail, describing in detail their characteristics, MOT history, condition and operation, and the damages and improvements observed, if any.
Money collected for drug addiction prevention
The money raised by this auction, organized by the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs of the Spanish Ministry of Health, is used to finance programs for the prevention of drug addiction, assistance to drug addicts and their social and labor insertion.
In recent years, approximately 70% of this income has been dedicated to this type of demand reduction programs and 30% to supply reduction (crime prosecution and police and customs actions). In 2023, €28 million was distributed from the Confiscated Assets Fund.
