Beirut, October 19th, 2015: Majid Al Futtaim’s City Centre Beirut, the leading fashion and entertainment destination in the city, launched the long awaited Fashion “rendezvous” in town. Fashionistas, socialites, celebrities and fashion editors rushed to attend the City Centre Fashion Show opening ceremony, debuting for the Fall-Winter 015-016 season with Lebanese internationally acclaimed designer, Fouad Sarkis.
After an absence from the local scene to focus more on his international presence, Fouad Sarkis chose City Centre Beirut to make a coveted and long applauded comeback with a gorgeous collection named “Alwan” using a myriad of textiles and colours, offering every Lebanese woman, an epitome of luxury dresses fit for every outing so she shines. Renowned actress, TV anchor and celebrity Carla Haddad, presented the show to the delight of her fans.

Important to note that Fouad Sarkis, the Lebanese internationally acclaimed Fashion designer was one of the first Lebanese designers to participate in International fashion shows like Milan and Paris and today, he owns a multinational brand, available in more than 90 cities in the world.
Hosted by Cynthia Khalifeh with the live broadcast of Gavin Ford and Radio One, the 4 days, following the opening of the fashion week were dedicated to the tenants to showcase their latest collections and trends, and present assortments of clothes, shoes, accessories and jewellery from over 70 Fashion outlets catering to men, women and kids during the daily fashion shows.
