Wizz Air Abu Dhabi Inaugurates Low-Fare Connection to the UAE Capital
04 June 2025, Beirut, Lebanon: Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the ultra-low-fare national airline of the UAE, has officially inaugurated its first flight from Beirut to Abu Dhabi, marking a major milestone in the airline’s continued expansion across the Middle East. As the only ultra-low-cost carrier operating between Lebanon and the UAE, the launch reinforces Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s commitment to making smart travel accessible, affordable, and reliable for all.
The new route operates three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with one-way fares starting from just USD 35.99*. Tickets are available on wizzair.com and the WIZZ mobile app, both available in Arabic.
The inaugural flight was celebrated at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport with an event attended by H.E. Mrs. Laura Lahoud, Lebanon’s Minister of Tourism, Carl Rizk, Head of Air Transport, as well as airport executives and senior representatives from the national airline.
