October 2025
Zara has reopened its flagship store in Beirut Souks, located in the heart of downtown Beirut, introducing an expanded format that presents the brand’s latest store concept. Covering nearly 3,000 square meters of commercial space over 3 floors, the store showcases an extensive range of fashion collections for women, men, and children, complemented by dedicated areas for Shoes & Bags and special lines such as Zara Origins.
The reopening reinforces Zara’s commitment to retail innovation, offering customers a new destination where fashion, architecture, sustainability, and advanced technology come together to create an elevated shopping experience.
Conceived by Zara’s Architecture Studio, the space has been redesigned to provide a welcoming environment. The reopening follows Zara’s newest concept for global flagship stores, with a refreshed image and new product display areas, equipped with the most advanced technology to facilitate a seamless customer experience. At the same time, boutique-style spaces, featuring unique designs and furniture, highlight the brand’s collections and offer a distinctive connection between the customer and the product.
The interior concept of Zara Beirut Souks is designed to create a welcoming, intimate atmosphere, guiding customers through individually curated spaces. The design combines traditional and contemporary elements, with lightness and sophistication.
Differentiated zones are particularly prominent: the Shoes & Bags area and special fitting rooms on the ground floor are designed in a cozy, domestic style; the women’s younger line features touches of steel; and Zara Man collections are presented in a setting of strong contrasts in black and off-white, complemented by curated photography on the walls.
A warm and refined atmosphere is achieved through the use of natural materials such as wood, latticework inspired by the building that houses the store, antique pieces, marquetry, granite, ceramics, stone, and natural fabrics. Each section plays with different textures, tones, and finishes to reinforce its character. Both natural and staged lighting further enhance the store’s environment, creating a comfortable, inviting space and highlighting the collections.
Further enhancing the shopping experience, ZARA is excited to announce that ZACAFFÈ, the brand’s first café in Lebanon, will soon open within this store. A place where fashion meets lifestyle, ZACAFFÈ will offer customers a sophisticated yet welcoming space to relax and unwind.
INNOVATION IN CUSTOMER SERVICE
Zara Beirut Souks integrates the most advanced technology to deliver a seamless, omnichannel shopping experience. Customers can interact with the brand in-store or via zara.com and the Zara app, enabling real-time inventory browsing, quick product location, and online order pickup. The store features assisted checkout zones on every floor, including accessible payment stations, as well as a customer service point offering guidance, advice, and personalized assistance. A dedicated Click & Collect desk allows customers to pick up online orders.
In addition, the store features a cardboard collection point to encourage customers to recycle packaging. It also includes a used clothing collection container to extend the useful life of garments through our charity partner.
In line with Zara’s commitment to sustainability, Zara Beirut Souks has some of the most advanced energy efficiency systems, including efficient heating and cooling systems, and an innovative design that reduces overall lighting intensity from LED fixtures to cut energy use further while maintaining a premium in-store environment. In addition, the store is connected to our internal Inergy platform, which centrally monitors the consumption of the air conditioning and electricity at the store to optimize management, improve maintenance and define strategies to reduce energy needs.
