- A three-emirate showcase transformed Chery showrooms into cultural spaces celebrating heritage, creativity, and artistic innovation
Dubai, UAE — December 9th, 2025: Chery UAE, represented in the country by AW Rostamani Group, launched the “Chery Art Hub”, a new cultural initiative dedicated to supporting, elevating, and highlighting regional creative talent. This long-term platform reflects Chery’s commitment to design, innovation, and community engagement by integrating art into the customer experience across its showrooms in the UAE.
The inaugural edition, celebrating the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad, featured a collaboration with award-winning Syrian artist and academic Abduljabbar Weiss, whose body of work spans evocative watercolor and acrylic paintings rooted in heritage, portraiture, and the cultural fabric of the Arab world. His portfolio, which includes striking portrayals of UAE leaders, traditional Emirati architecture, falcons, horses, and expressive landscapes, has earned him international recognition and exhibitions across multiple countries.
Weiss showcased his latest works across Chery UAE showrooms in three emirates. The exhibition debuted in Abu Dhabi on the 23rd of November, before moving to Sharjah on the 26th of November, and concluding in Dubai on the 29th of November. Each location presented an intimate encounter with art, culture, and community, transforming Chery’s showrooms into accessible cultural destinations.
Speaking about the new initiative, Zaher Sabbagh, Director of Chery UAE, said:
“With the launch of Chery Art Hub, we are reinforcing our commitment to fostering a vibrant creative culture within the UAE and in the wider region. This initiative illustrates a strategic investment in the artistic voices that enrich our community and reflect the spirit of the Arab World. Our collaboration with Abduljabbar Weiss exemplifies Chery UAE’s dedication to championing emerging talent and supporting the cultural narratives that define our identity. Chery Art Hub marks the beginning of a sustained, long-term vision to integrate the arts into our brand experience and to bring impactful, meaningful engagements to our customers and the wider public.”
Through Chery Art Hub, Chery UAE is reimagining the role of automotive showrooms as immersive cultural spaces, transforming them into rotating galleries where art, design, and contemporary vision intersect. The Weiss collaboration represents the first in a series of upcoming partnerships that reinforce Chery’s design-led philosophy and dedication to cultural engagement and artistic dialogue across the UAE and beyond.
