A joint artistic showcase by Rawia Ghandour Zantout, Aquarel Studio (High-End Ready-to-Wear), and Dana by Dana El Zein (Jewelry)
Beirut is set to host a refined artistic and design experience as visual artist Rawia Ghandour Zantout, alongside Aquarel Studio and Dana by Dana El Zein, presents the exhibition “Behind the Canvas – ما وراء اللوحة”.
The event opens on December 18 at the Park Palace Building, Downtown Beirut (ground floor, facing Plume Restaurant).
Opening: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
Exhibition dates: December 18–24, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM daily
“Behind the Canvas” offers a first look at Rawia’s newest series—paintings built on layered textures, emotional depth, and a refined play of color and light. The exhibition invites art lovers, collectors, designers, and media to explore the unseen stories, memories, and intimate moments behind each canvas.
Known for their rich materiality, Rawia’s works unveil the hidden layers that shape every piece long before its final form. Visitors are encouraged to experience the emotional architecture that gives each painting its soul.
“Every layer carries a story, and every texture is a piece of my soul. Behind the Canvas is a glimpse into that world.”
She adds:
“This exhibition is an invitation to go deeper—to see not just the surface, but the emotions, memories, and quiet moments that build each piece. Each canvas carries a breath, a heartbeat, a memory… a piece of Beirut, a piece of me.”
The opening will welcome collectors, invited guests, media, and cultural figures supporting Lebanese art and creativity. The exhibition remains open to the public throughout the week.
Rawia extends her appreciation to guests, partners, collectors, and everyone contributing to the growth of Lebanese art.
With “Behind the Canvas,” she invites the public to discover the emotion and beauty that live beneath every layer—reminding us that the surface is only the beginning.
