Italian brand’s revamped store opens with winter trunk show
Beirut, December 26, 2014 – Ermenegildo Zegna’s well-suited clients gathered Downtown on Wednesday, December 17 for the official opening of the brand’s revamped Beirut boutique. In a luxurious open-air lounge fashioned outside the shop, guests were treated to a trunk show of the fall/winter 2014-15 looks from the Sartorial, Upper Casual and Z Zegna collections. Sounds from a live jazz band and the night’s DJ floated through the air as visitors enjoyed cocktails and a tour of the new boutique. The Zegna team arrived from Italy to celebrate the monumental menswear moment in Lebanon: Enzo D’Alessandro, group Zegna ambassador; Thomas Busler, regional market head EMEA; and David Franzini, Ermenegildo Zegna brand director.
Zegna’s expanded empire now includes a revamped, 394-square-meter boutique on Abdel Malek Street. Under the guidance of American architect Peter Marino and the Zegna family, the newest Zegna space encapsulates a perfect blend of Zegna style, history and values with cutting-edge trends in architecture and luxury design.
Over three floors connected with a bronze and wood-paneled elevator, the spacious boutique represents the luxury lifestyle and impeccable service clients have come to expect from the house. A new Made-to-Measure room is headquarters to a Zegna Master Tailor who travels from Italy twice a year for private appointments, while a discrete, refined V.I.P. area caters to the needs of Zegna’s valuable clients. The boutique also includes other lines from the house – Premium, Sartoria, Upper Casual, Z Zegna and Zegna Sport – offering clients a range of looks to satisfy every need and occasion.
