Beirut, Lebanon – June 26, 2018 –Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, is demonstrating its IoT-enabled EcoStruxure solutions in Lebanon later this month during the region’s leading international construction show, Project Lebanon 2018.
Schneider Electric is taking part in the global three-day gathering, which will run from June 26 to 29, along with hundreds of leading regional and international exhibitors with the aim of exploring new business opportunities in the Lebanese market.
Schneider Electric will be showcasing new solutions of its EcoStruxure architecture, an open and interoperable energy management system for building, grid, industry, and data center customers. It leverages advancements in IoT, mobility, sensing, cloud, analytics, and cybersecurity to deliver innovation at every level, from connected products and edge control to apps, analytics and services.
“Our development strategy in Lebanon is designed to drive digital transformation in traditional buildings by turning them into smart buildings where all devices are connected to achieve the highest levels of operation management and deliver optimal energy efficiency,” said Marc Charabati, Levant General Manager.
“Schneider Electric aims to bolster Lebanon’s infrastructure of electricity, water and gas networks through smart network management, clean energy procurement and carbon-reduction solutions. We will work alongside the Lebanese government to develop smart solutions that use energy-saving technologies in every aspect of life to change consumption patterns and reduce emissions,” he added.

Commenting on the Schneider Electric’s participation in “Project Lebanon” exhibition and launching EcoStruxure platform, Fouad Zayed, Schneider Electric’s Vice President for Smart Buildings, said “EcoStruxure is an open platform that is interoperable between various systems and software. The EcoStruxure platform has been developed to ensemble with the latest international standards of Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics.”

Project Lebanon is the 23rd global trade exhibition for construction materials and equipment in Lebanon and the Middle East. It brings together industry leaders from around the world to showcase their latest products and services, build contacts and generate new business opportunities in Lebanon and the region.
