Beirut, 17 May 2017 – Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed, and is pleased to introduce, Chadi Gedeon as its new general manager, marking Gedeon’s third appointment in the Middle East. He joins the award-winning property from Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lake Towers, and has worked with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts for more than 14 years in holding various executive positions including Director of Rooms, Resident Manager and General Manager across different properties. Chadi Gedeon brings unique leadership qualities, commitment, a wealth of experience, and in-depth knowledge of the brand to his respective role, which will no doubt ensure continued success.
A native of Lebanon and a graduate of the International Institute ‘Maxim’s de Paris’ in France, Gedeon began his hospitality career at ‘Hotel Maxims de Paris’ in 1991. His passion for the industry led him to join the Intercontinental Hotels Group where he spent seven years and took on several leading positions. A well-rounded operational experience made him an excellent choice to launch the stylish oceanfront property Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya in Thailand and took the role of General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers Dubai before joining Mövenpick Beirut.
Gedeon is a seasoned leader and will spearhead his team to achieve strong performance goals, revenue projections and ensure guest satisfaction for which Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts are renowned. He is married and a father-of-three.
