Vincenti & Sons, the leading distributor of food and spirits brands in Lebanon, organized on the 27th of September 2017 and for the first time in the country, The Angostura Global Cocktail Challenge (AGCC) at The Cask & Barrel boutique in the presence of the finalists, prominent members of the jury, media representatives and bloggers.
To represent Lebanon at the AGCC semi-finals in Cape Town – South Africa during October, some of the finest Lebanese bartenders battled it out at The Cask & Barrel to demonstrate their skills as they presented their creations in front of the jury, using The House of Angostura in a Cocktail Competition like no other.
The lucky Lebanese winner, Johnny Mansour, will compete against the other finalists from Africa and the Middle East to qualify to the AGCC 2018 finals at Trinidad & Tobago, and hopefully become the first Lebanese winner of one of the most sought after bartending challenges in the world.
As the competition got tougher, guests were cheering for their favorite bartender while enjoying cold drinks and appetizers courtesy of The Cask & Barrel, the number one supporter of Lebanese talents.
