D BEIRUT, the new address for creativity and a unique platform for art, design and wellbeing, was inaugurated in the presence of Lama Tammam Salam, ambassadors, VIPs, artists, designers, art collectors, gallery owners, and the media.
D BEIRUT, located on the seaside road of Burj Hammoud, stands in a historical industrial neighborhood of Beirut with great examples of monumental architecture from the 70’s. The neighborhood is developing as the new cultural and nightlife hub of the city, offering to the visitor spectacular views of the port and the city.
D BEIRUT is owned by the Jureidini family who is committed to transforming the 1970’s factory building into a vibrant creative destination on the seaside road, and to maintain the historic, urban and industrial vibe.
“Our ambition is to unite exceptionally talented and dynamic entrepreneurs for a creative collective like no other in Lebanon. The industrial building will inspire a sense of community in this up-and-coming neighborhood of Beirut” said Eric Jureidini, co-owner of D BEIRUT.
It is home to architects, artists, fashion designers, photographers and a yoga studio, and currently hosts: Carwan Gallery (Contemporary Design Gallery), Garen Demirdjian (Fashion Designer), Karim Bekdache Studio (Architecture and Design), Raafat Karimeh (Fashion and Consulting), Roger Moukarzel – Minime Production (Photographer), Solarco (Industrial kitchen custom made fabrication), Vick Vanlian (Architecture and Design), Yoga Souk (Yoga Studio)
The building also offers open, multi-functional indoor and outdoor space for special events to rejuvenate the area.
