BEIRUT, 15 September 2018 – The World Clean-up Day on the 15th of September saw a significant contribution from the Burger King chain of restaurants in Lebanon, where a large number of its employees volunteered in cleaning the coast of Al Ramlet Al Bayda, Beirut.
Moreover, the management of Burger King surprised all participants in this initiative by providing and distributing free meals prepared freshly from their mobile kitchen.
This campaign is part of Burger King’s series of efforts to save the Lebanese beaches, and a first step in the company’s endeavor to preserve the environment; in addition to adopting recyclable packaging materials across all Burger King’s branches in Lebanon, thus reducing carbon emissions and helping safeguard the environment.
