Beirut 14 November, 2014: For the 3rdconsecutive year,Boecker®,the region’s largest Public Health provider, is assuming its role as an industry leader and actively participated in the “Beirut Cooking Festival 2014”. The Festival, which took place from6th till 8thNovember, 2014 is considered an annual platform for Boecker®in which it highlights to visitors the most trending directions in Food Safety, Pest Management and Biosecurity, along its latest services inthese specialized solutions related to Public Health.
Boecker’s participation was marked with its “five at 5” activity that was heldthroughout the tradeshow, where chefs were cookinglive on a daily basiswhile Boecker Food Safety Consultants gave food safety commentary and tips to the audience. Participating chefs hailed from Food Safety certified establishments; “Goodies”, “Nutrition and Diet Center” as well as “SocrateCatering”.
Mrs. BanaKobrosly Country Manager of Boecker said, “We are continuing to bring unprecedented initiatives to the most prominent hospitality and food safety shows in Lebanon. Our main aim is to establish a strong culture of hygiene and elevate public health standards amongst food industry players and increase hygiene awareness and its importance among the Lebanese consumers.”
In addition to this, the company dedicated a corner for visitors who were encouraged to take its “Boecker Safety Pledge” during the festival this year, a commitment taken by individuals to preserve natural resources and the well-being of their community. Passersby near Boecker’s stand were invited to take the pledge of leading a safer and hygienic lifestyle, sign in the “Livre-d’or” and receive the Boecker ribbon and certificate.
