Beirut, Lebanon – 2018: As part of their efforts to secure a safe and non-violent environment for children on the Lebanese territory, himaya NGO held its annual fundraising dinner under the patronage of Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the Pavillon Beirut Seaside Arena, on Friday November 9th, in the presence of several political and social figures in addition to prominent media personalities.
Hosted by TV presenter Mohammed Kais, the event started with a stunt executed by kids of different ages and genders, representing any child who might be suffering of abuse, which was previously produced in a video, in line with himaya’s “Dawwi 3al Ghalat” awareness campaign aiming to push people to report cases of child abuse.
President of himaya NGO, Mrs. Vivianne Debbas, commented on this occasion, saying: “We thank your unlimited trust in himaya’s mission and your support to its noble cause, without which we wouldn’t be able to continue the journey together.
