For over 20 years, Breitling’s Avenger has been at the forefront of airborne adventure. Now new Night Mission models take flight with bold case sizes and new strap colors ready for your next aerial expedition.
Built for jet pilots, the Avenger Night Mission is a watch that can take on the toughest cockpits and keep coming back for more. But you don’t need air force credentials to appreciate its bold design, exceptional resilience, and next-level functionality.
Built from the same materials as aircraft, Breitling’s Avenger Night Mission pairs robust performance with sophisticated modern aviation style. The Breitling Avenger Night Mission models have 300 m water resistance, easy-grip functionality, and corrosion-resistant construction, as they are built for the toughest cockpits.
With black ceramic cases, the newest line includes straps that draw from military and contemporary design colors, including green, sand, black, and turquoise. The new colors bring bold and resilient touches to a watch admired by those in action-fueled professions as well as those who love a touch of adventure.
“These watches are ready for every challenge, from supersonic flight speeds to difficult operations,” Breitling CEO Georges Kern says. “These are some of the most robust watches we make.”
New Super Avenger B01 Chronograph 46 Night Mission in Green
The new Super Avenger B01 Chronograph 46 Night Mission features a bold 46 mm case with a resilient, black carbon dial and a green strap. Its case and bezel are constructed of scratch-resistant ceramic. The open caseback, crown, pushers, and buckle are crafted from solid titanium, providing the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. The dial numerals provide superior legibility.
Released in September, the latest model in Breitling’s Avenger collection comes with a slightly larger case size than the Avenger Automatic GMT 44 Night Mission, which enables reading Zulu time along a 24-hour rotating bezel or a second time zone at a glance. The new, larger case size features the same color combo and carbon dial.
New Avenger B01 Chronograph 42 Night Mission Models in Sand and Turquoise
The slightly smaller 42 mm case-size Avenger Night Mission models come with sand and turquoise military leather straps. As far as turning it up with the dial designs goes, the sand Avenger B01 Chronograph 42 Night Mission model has a black carbon dial and the turquoise dial model matches the strap. Sand turns up the contrast with numbers of the same color on the dial. The new sand and turquoise Avenger models come powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B01, with an open caseback and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
New Avenger Automatic 42 Night Mission in Black
The new Avenger Automatic 42 Night Mission model comes with a black military leather strap, ceramic case, and carbon dial. This adventurous timepiece is equipped with the three-hand automatic Breitling Caliber 17, with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
All Breitling movements are COSC-certified.
Newest Models Build on a Series of New Avenger Releases This Fall
Last month, Breitling introduced two core models crafted entirely of titanium—an evolution of the new Super Avenger—that feature a black or blue dial along with a titanium rotating 60-minute bezel in a 46 mm case size. Baton indexes streamline the dial, highlighting the red-tipped chronograph hand. The grip pattern on the crown and bezel as well as the square pushers are designed for the smoothest timekeeping operations.
Breitling also launched Avenger Chronograph models with a 42 mm stainless-steel case powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 last month. The watchmaker revealed three new models with black, blue, and green dials available with either matching military leather straps or a stainless-steel bracelet.
Built with aviation-grade materials, the Avenger Night Mission draws on nearly a century of Breitling history dating back to the 1930s and the HUIT Aviation Department, when third-generation founder Willy Breitling crafted precision instruments and chronographs for pilots.
Breitling’s expertise in aviation extends beyond military models and instruments to the golden age of civil aviation, when Breitling created one of the most renowned and legendary time pieces of the jet age, the Navitimer. Additional aviation-focused models followed, including the AVI Co-Pilot, the Aerospace, the Emergency, and, of course, the Avenger—each a testament to Breitling’s substantial history and enduring link with aviation.
