On Friday, June 6th 2014, SGBL inaugurated its new branch in Tripoli, Bechara el Khoury Street. This brings the number of SGBL’s network of branches to 69 in Lebanon and is testament to the bank’s commitment to reach its local clients all over the country. It’s part of an expansion strategy that truly focuses on proximity with customers.
To mark this occasion, a reception was held at the new premises and SGBL invited numerous clients as well as figures, locals and people living in the area.
The SGBL Tripoli-Bechara el Khoury branch adds a new dimension to the three SGBL branches already in Tripoli (the Mina, Maarad and Boulevard branches). This is a sign of the bank’s faith in this city and recognition of the region’s high economic potential.
During his speech, Michel Dirani, SGBL’s regional director in the North area, affirmed: “The opening of this new branch today strengthens SGBL’s presence in the ‘Capital of the North’. Through this 4th branch, we mark our will to contribute to the development and growth of the city of Tripoli, confirming once again the continuous commitment of our general management and our teams towards our customers, aiming to providing them with banking products and services that best meet their expectations”.
