Sarah’s Bag introduces its Love, Lebanon collection, a tribute to a country that has the extraordinary
ability to break your heart and yet inspire you to fall in love with it, again and again.
The collection took shape in January, long before anyone could have known what the months ahead
held. When war broke out, there were moments where continuing felt wrong, and others when it
became obvious that loving this country and holding onto it was enough of a reason to keep going.
This collection introduces the kiss-lock purse, a new bag shape, drawn from the tradition of 1920s
glass-beaded purses. The Grotte Aux Pigeons Purse, entirely hand-beaded in 22 hours by our lady
artisans, portrays the Raouché Rock the way locals actually see it, from a car window, mid-tra c,
or on a walk along the corniche. The Cedar Purse turns another enduring symbol of Lebanon into
an intricately beaded collectible, transforming a national symbol into an object of craft and
contemporary expression.

Sarah’s Bag reintroduces Tote bags as a practical and a stylish addition to your day look, inspired by
vintage travel posters of the old Beirut Port, Aley, and Baalbeck. Each tote is embellished by a series
of bag charms in the shape of iconic Lebanese symbols such as a Arak bottle, lemon orchards,
icecream. These posters are courtesy of the Philippe Jabre Foundation and reproduced with the
permission of the Ministry of Tourism of Lebanon.
The Ski and Swim Classic Clutch is a nod to Lebanon’s ultimate flex of skiing and swimming in the
same day. It is finished with a vintage car clasp, reminiscent of long drives on scenic roads.
