Roula Bahnam unveiled her latest collection, VERVÉ, at an exclusive launch hosted by Wadi 99 Art Gallery, owned by Hassan and Lina Ghousseini. The gallery opened its doors to welcome a distinguished audience from Beirut’s creative and cultural scene, including VIP guests, social influencers, and prominent figures from the city’s fashion and lifestyle circles.
The gallery’s atmosphere played a key role in the experience. Vibrant surrealist paintings by Faisal Ghousseini, son of the gallery owners, filled the walls, bringing energy and color to the space. Beneath these artworks, Roula Bahnam’s sculptural leather designs were showcased in a striking dialogue between art and fashion, enhanced by carefully curated lighting and textures. The evening’s ambiance was elevated by DJ ANMA, whose beats added rhythm and movement to the launch.
The VERVÉ bag quickly emerged as the star of the event. Characterized by its flowing fringes, sculptural silhouette, bold colors, and hand-selected premium leather, the design was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Nearly sold out during the launch, VERVÉ saw numerous pre-orders placed, confirming its status as Roula Bahnam’s next signature piece.
Guests also explored a selection of the designer’s previous collections, including architectural wooden-and-leather designs such as Helios, Prisma, and Déco, the versatile Versa line in various sizes, and a range of luxurious snake-skin clutches. A curated private sale featuring selected past pieces at 50% off, alongside wallets and cardholders from the Versa collection, completed the experience.
The pop-up remains open to the public until December 22, from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Wadi 99 Art Gallery, located right before the Elie Saab showroom in Downtown Beirut, opposite side.
