Beirut, Lebanon (April 2016) – Samsung Electronics Levant launched its first Smart classroom in Lebanon at the American University of Beirut (AUB), creating a brand new educational experience for the University’s students. Through this state-of-the-art technology, students are able to fully engage the curriculum through their own Samsung tablets, and interact with their professors’ e-board. This fully interactive solution is AUB’s first major technological advancement within the classroom, and another great step for Samsung Electronics Levant in the advancement of education.
As part of its Corporate Citizenship Program, Samsung Electronics Levant has previously established a Smart academy in the University of Jordan, among other schools and academies. These advances in Smart learning fall in line with Samsung Electronics’ commitment to the development of education and “taking pride in adding value to the educational sector in the region,” says Mr. Changsup Lee, President of Samsung Electronics Levant.
