During a media round table held at the TahseenKhayat Group headquarters on May 15th, 2014; the TahseenKhayat Group and Phoenix Hospitality Management Limited presented the final stages of their first luxury extended stay inspired designer living hotel,‘EighteenSixtySix Court & Suites’.
KarimKhayat, CEO, of TahseenKhayat Group stated “We have strategically located our first designer hotel EighteenSixtySix Court & Suites on the famous Bliss Street, opposite the American University of Beirut; a prime location in the heart of Beirut’s cultural district of Hamra.”
EighteenSixtySix Court & Suites, the flagship hotel of TahseenKhayat Group and operated by subsidiary company Phoenix Hospitality Management Limited will set new standards for both short and long stays and new relocations to Beirut.
The design forward serviced rooms and suites are due to open in the fall of 2014 with Omar Mamlouk, Managing Partner of Phoenix Hospitality Management Limited at the helm, he said,“As a group we sat together and the questions that popped up were ‘What is it that the customers will expect from us?’, ‘How do we want to connect with them and position ourselves locally and internationally?’, And so was born the new design led home-from-home EighteenSixtySix Court & Suites.”
KarimKhayat,had a vision and for this, he said, “We commissioned Lebanese architect Bernard Khoury for his modernist architectural pedigree;we wanted to develop a new living hotel in Beirut.Our goal was to offer a luxury modern design that reflected the essence and vibrancy of the city through its evolving architectural and engineering landscape withinEighteenSixtySix Court & Suites.”
