Beirut, December 23, 2014: In cooperation with the Lebanese Franchise Association (LFA), the Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIABML) delegated Boecker®, in the framework of its campaign aimed at preserving food safety for citizens, to lead preparational courses at the new training center CCIABML
Boecker®, the leading provider of a holistic range of Public Health services covering Pest Management, Food Safety and Biosecurity in the region, will be training a large number of food handlers of restaurants and food industryin the context of its efforts in supporting the hospitality sector in Lebanon.
The contribution, announced at a press conference held at the headquarters of CCIABML on December 17, 2014, was chaired by Mr. Mohammed Choucair and attended by the Minister of Health Wael Abou Faour, the Minister of Industry Dr. Hussein Hajj Hassan, the Minister of Economy Dr. Alain Hakim, the Minister of Environment Mohammed Machnouk along with the Chairman of the Economic Associations Adnan Kassar and LFA President Charles Arbid. Also attending the conference were representatives of the Minister of Agriculture, Akram Chehayeb and the Minister of Tourism, Michel Pharaon and a large number of dignitaries, presidents and members of economic bodies and trade unions concerned in the food and beverage industry.
The courses are based on scientific methods incorporating two levels of training, level 1 and level 2. The first, providing general information about the foundations of food safety, serves as an outlet for raising awareness, while the second, more specialized, informs of the basic applied principles required by all workers of this sector.
