Beirut, Lebanon — Arssod, Lebanon’s first automated KYC-grade due diligence platform, is now live at arssod.com. Founded by Elie James Bou Nasr, a Lebanese cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur, the platform delivers actionable due diligence reports on Lebanese companies in under 90 seconds, cross-referencing 12 live data sources including OFAC, UN, EU and UK sanctions lists, the Lebanese PEP database, Banque du Liban, Beirut Stock Exchange, and Arabic and English news monitoring.
Arssod was built to address the compliance gap created by the Lebanese Commercial Registry outage, which has been ongoing since early 2024. Banks, law firms, and corporate clients can now conduct counterparty due diligence without relying on manual processes or the delays of traditional consulting engagements.
Reports are delivered as bilingual PDF documents in English and Arabic, covering ownership structure, sanctions screening, PEP checks, director network analysis, and operational signals.
“The Lebanese commercial registry has been offline since 2024. We didn’t wait for it to come back — we built the alternative.” — Elie James Bou Nasr, Founder, Arssod
