Mazda’s all-new compact city car, the 2016 Mazda2, has made its Lebanese debut this past weekend in an enthralling launch ceremony organized by the exclusive Mazda distributorin Lebanon, A.N.Boukather, in collaboration with Mix Fm.
The launch party took place on the evening of Saturday, April 18, in B 018where invitees, including Mazda customers and the media, feasted their eyes on the sleekest and sexiest Mazda2 yet.
In the midst of the exciting atmosphere, a draw for a prize consisting of two tickets to Mazda’s home country of Japan took place and at the end of which the winners were announced.
The all-new Mazda2 is the first 2016 car that was launched in Lebanon this year. It’s longer than the previous model with a bigger wheelbase, a more spacious interior, and an array of i-ACTIVSENSE active safety systems to go with the generous level of equipment.
It’s all packed into an extraordinarily attractive KODO – Soul of Motion exterior that shelters an innovatively ergonomic and pleasingly refined cabin, along with a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV engine that produces 114 horsepower and is coupled to a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
The 2016 Mazda2, which comes in sedan and hatchback form, boasts plenty of unique new features for a competitively priced compact car, including an innovative Infotainment system and GPS navigation system with a 7-inch touch screen, in addition toa rear view camera.
A.N.Boukather’s commitment to offering technologically innovative and quality products that are also big on fun and excitement has been evident in its 2016 Mazda line-up, which now proudly embraces the all-new Mazda2 – the compact car that is strongly expected to follow in the footsteps of other highly successful Mazda models in Lebanon, be it the new Mazda3 and Mazda6 family sedan or the Mazda CX-5 and CX-9 SUV.
