On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the LAU Medical Center- Rizk Hospital collaborated with Donner Sang Compter (DSC) to organize a blood drive on the 14th of June.
Held at the municipality of Sin El Fil, the employees of Fattal and L’Oreal gathered to donate blood, with a total of 27 units collected throughout the day. The event was held under the theme of “Give blood to keep the world beating” and was organized to create awareness on the importance of blood donation and to encourage people to donate.

Keeping in mind that hospitals and blood banks are operating with very low blood supplies, the role of organizations like Donner Sang Compter has become even more important. All parties need to work very hard to continue to keep blood supplies available for those in need of surgeries or medical interventions.
It is with that in mind that LAU Medical Center- Rizk Hospital, decided to partner with Donner Sang Compter; staying true to its mission to heal with compassion and supporting the community.
