| Some were saved from the Beirut explosion. More than 200 animals were rescued and taken to our shelter. Most were reunited with their owners or found new homes. Finally, the last of the animals from the explosion will get new homes. |
| Abandoned pets rescued. The economic crisis and severe devaluation of the currency has led many people to abandon their pets. These animals are thrown on the streets or abandoned in front of our office as people are no longer able to afford even basic food and care. |
