Dubai, 20 July 2020: Garena has launched its latest in-game event – Vengeance Day, bringing together Free Fire gamers from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and the world to test themselves and claim exclusive rewards.
Vengeance Day, which kicked off on 17 July and will run until 28 July, is part of Garena’s commitment to deliver new and challenging gaming experiences for thousands of Free Fire gamers around the world.
During the eight days, players will be able to win event-exclusive prizes including costumes, parachute skins and loot boxes. To make the game-play more competitive and exciting, Garena has added a new game mode ‘The Icon Hunter’ which will be available on Peak Day on 25 July.
In addition to Vengeance Day, Garena is also currently staging Free Fire Arab Clash War (FFACW) and Free Fire Arab League (FFAL). The two online tournaments are part of Garena’s mission to promote eSports in the MENA region and provide regular opportunities for passionate players to develop their talent.
With the global esports scene largely on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the new in-game events and content reflects Garena’s commitment to delivering exciting, engaging, and most importantly, safe content for its community.
Having started in June, the Free Fire Arab Clash War has now reached the Final Stages with eight teams still in with an opportunity to triumph following some thrilling and closely-fought matches so far.

Meanwhile, the Free Fire Arab League (FFAL) has witnessed plenty of drama and entertainment in its six weeks of action.
Providing a platform for 24 strong teams to showcase their abilities to millions around the world, the online league has attracted more than 2.2 million views on Garena Free Fire’s YouTube channel.
