Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 22 September 2020: To mark the joyous occasion of Saudi National Day on 23 September, Dubai is hosting a series of family-friendly events within the emirate to highlight the close relationship with Saudi Arabia – and will be kicking off the celebration with the city’s most iconic and world-famous landmarks set to light up in the colours of the Saudi flag.
In addition, a captivating 35-second video has been created by Dubai Tourism to showcase the close ties between the UAE’s citizens and residents and the bonds they share with their neighbours from Saudi Arabia. Filled with families and friends enjoying special moments, the video’s theme is one of celebration, joy and togetherness with traditional folk dancing, laser shows and smiles helping to spread the message of ‘KSA and UAE Together Forever’.
Some of Dubai’s most famous landmarks will be illuminated in the colours of the Saudi Arabian flag on 23 September in a wonderful showcase of unity with citizens of Saudi Arabia in the UAE and overseas. The Burj Khalifa will display a congratulatory message to mark the occasion, with the Saudi flag projected onto the world’s tallest building. The Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park and the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Jumeirah will also host extra special displays to commemorate the event.
