BEIRUT, Lebanon – October 23, 2017: Under the patronage of General Joseph Aoun, Commander of the Lebanese Army, Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace the leading 5-star luxury hotel in Beirut, organized an event to honor the Lebanese Military Organization and the wounded troops with their families in recognition of their ongoing efforts and sacrifices to defend the country amid all surrounding challenges and risks.
Attended by Naif Zureikat, Cluster General Manager of Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Beirut, Kamel Ajami Hilton VP Operations KSA & Levant and Rudy Jagersbacher Hilton President Middle East, Africa & Turkey, Hilton KSA & Levant GMs, the event gathered around 300 attendees from the military family at the Dubai Hall, Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace Hotel.

Representing the Commander of the Lebanese Army, Brigadier General Khalil Hanna thanked “the gentlemen at the Hilton Hotels worldwide and specially the management of Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand and Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace. We offer our gratitude for organizing this event full of love and patriotism”.
“I salute our wounded comrades and the families of the martyrs present with us today, I implore to keep faith that the ultimate sacrifices exerted by the martyrs and yourselves, protected our nation, and gave the army the strength to continue on the path of honor, sacrifice and loyalty”, concluded Brig. Gen. Hanna.
The Military Institution was presented a shield of honor by Naif Zureikat, Kamel Ajami and Rudy Jagersbacher as recognition of the military’s relentless efforts in emphasizing security and stability across the Lebanese lands, and the globally-acknowledged success in proactively anticipating and unveiling internal and external risks and neutralizing it. In return, the military institution also presented a shield of appreciation to Hilton for organizing this event.
