From a list comprising more than 1,000 applicants of which 46 were shortlisted, Synkers is the only Lebanese startup selected by Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA) to take part in an international program
pairing the world’s most exciting technology companies with leading government organisations to create transformational solutions.
Bringing together 150 entrepreneurs of 30 different nationalities from 14 countries, this year’s DFA Program offers a platform to develop innovative ideas that better help meet future challenges, transforming them into real opportunities for sustainable global development.
Thought, designed and developed to be part of a broader international trend reshaping the future of education through new technologies, contributing to making it accessible to a wider public, Synkers has produced a marked shift in the learning journey and will be now part of the promising experience to collaborate with Dubai Government. As a peer-to-peer private tutoring application, Synkers connects students seeking help in specific courses with highly qualified private tutors through a quick online personalized booking process.
The services provided by the application also cover university courses, school subjects, standardized tests, official exams and university entrance exams, thus meeting the needs of both students and parents. Its ultimate objective is to develop a learning approach customized to each student’s pace and reduce failure rate.

Synkers pride itself for succeeding at providing a pool of carefully vetted 750 tutors with constantly enhanced academic performance ensured by rating. The application has also chosen a pricing strategy that fits all budgets without compromising quality, with an average of $22 per session. Having already completed 10,000 tutoring hours, Synkers is seeing its number of students growing exponentially with more than 15,000 served to date.

Founded by three Lebanese women, Zeina Sultani, Sibylle and Audrey Nakad each contributing to the startup in her own way. Sultani who comes from a business development and marketing background is now making her dream come true through focusing on investing in education, while Sybille and Audrey Nakad who both come from a very rigorous financial background dedicate their time to innovation and quality, the two main keys for the success of such an ambitious project made to spread the culture of excellency in the education field.
