In a special Armenian entertaining event at Spinneys Elissar Branch
Beirut, Lebanon 2018: Honoring its Armenian shoppers and their roots, and under the patronage and presence of the Armenian Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchian and the MP General Hagop Terzian Spinneys, the leading retailer in the region launched its Armenian loyalty card in a special two-days edition of Souk El Akel at its newest branch in Elissar, on June 29th and 30th.
More than seven Armenian dishes were served for the attendees, among which soujouk, soubereg, Lahme bi Ajin, Toshka and others, while the latter enjoyed the beats and traditional songs of an Armenian musician and singer, as well as a folkloric Armenian dance performance. The hostesses welcomed the attendees dressed with the Armenian traditional costumes. The attendees got the chance to explore the pavilions that showcased Armenian products and services.
“Spinneys launched the first Armenian Loyalty Card in Lebanon to honor the Armenian roots of its shoppers and reward them with authentic Armenian products and services,” said Claudine Akiki the CRM Manager in her welcome speech, followed by the speeches of Armenian Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchian and MP General Hagop Terzian who both expressed their gratitude to Spinneys for launching this card and honoring the Armenian community in Lebanon in a special way.
This new loyalty card allows customers to shop, collect points and redeem them for authentic Armenian products and services that honor the Armenian roots. The card’s design was conceived by the Armenian painter, Lena Aydenian, where she illustrates the Armenian symbols, particularly the pomegranate, the Ararat Mountain, and the Armenian flag. Aydenian had the chance to welcome the attendees and highlight her vision behind the card’s design.
Last but not least, Chief Marketing Officer of Spinneys, Ralph el Kahi offered trophies to the Armenian Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchian and the MP General Hagop Terzian, thanking them for their presence and support.
