More than 5,000 youth and women are expected to attend the Changemaker Festival’s second Middle East edition this October 5th and 6th in Downtown Beirut.
BEIRUT, September 27, 2019 – The Changemaker Festival, which has become one of the Middle East’s biggest events for youth and women, will be held this year in Downtown Beirut at District//S, on October 5th and 6th. More than 5,000 millennials from Lebanon and abroad, influencers, CEO’s, executives and youth leaders will gather in one place to explore how entrepreneurship can change the world.
Organized by Changemaker and WLC (the Women’s Leadership Council), this year’s festival will feature:
Startup Competitions: With more than $300,000 of funding for youth and women.
Keynote Stage: 20+ leading CEOs from around the world connecting with attendees.
Rapid Learning Center: Free education on the most relevant topics for youth and women.
Trading Hub: 40+ women-led business showcase with workshops and panels.
Food Zone: Containing more than 12 food booths featuring the best that Lebanon has to offer
Music: Live performances by Anthony Touma and many more
The Changemaker Festival seeks to bridge the gap between youth, leading community players and top decision makers to create broad-based partnerships that inspire action. This year’s edition is organized in collaboration with Hult Prize, the Central Bank of Lebanon, BLOM BANK, Kobeissi & Frangié Attorneys, Beirut Digital District, the United Nations Global Compact, and many more.
