BEIRUT, Lebanon – October 28th , 2014 – Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand today launched a major joint community initiative in partnership with SANAD The Home Hospice Organization, to collect and donate funds to help improve the lives of patients with terminal illnesses and their families.
As part of this initiative, staying guests at Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand will be invited to contribute to the cause by simply adding one extra dollar to their final bill. The collected amount will then be directly donated to SANAD the Home Hospice Organization of Lebanon to support their efforts in pain management, social and psychological support, and in creating a supportive environment for patients and their families. Furthermore, this initiative aims to raise local awarenessof the essential and valuable care undertaken by SANAD.

SANAD the Home Hospice Organization strives to empower patients and their families to become skilled in their own care and allow them to make informed choices in line with their values and beliefs.

This initiative has kicked off in September 2014 at Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand and is aiming at raising enough funds to help SANAD the Home Hospice Organization drive their cause forward.
