Under the patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister, Mr. Saad Hariri, Promofair and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, inaugurated with the support of H.E Mr. Marwan Hamade and Beirut Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the first edition of “Education and Orientation Expo”, Edex, 2018, at Seaside Arena, downtown Beirut, in presence of the French Ambassador Mr. Bruno Foucher, The British Ambassador Mr. Hugo Shorter, the President of the Beirut Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mr. Mohamed Choucair and a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce of Paris.
A successful professional career starts by obtaining the right guidance for the right choice of major at the university. Given the growing need for future graduates to get the best advice, Edex 2018 dedicates this highly important event to students and parents offering them a unique opportunity to meet and talk to education professionals and colleges’ representatives, who will introduce them to the different fields of study available and how they fit the student’s potential, in addition to pragmatic information on applications procedures. Open from 10am to 8pm and lasting until 4 March 2018, Edex 2018 aims at bringing schools and universities closer under the same umbrella, thus enabling students to get all needed information before embarking on the exciting journey of college life.
