BEIRUT, November 1st –Clowns are the third most sought after Halloween costume of 2017. With this in mind, the BURGER KING® brand created Scary Clown Night across its worldwide network. On October 31st, BURGER KING® Jal el Dib was full of frightening clowns eating flame grilled WHOPPER® meals as thrill seekers headed down to BURGER KING® restaurant dressed as a clown between 7pm and 11pm to claim their free WHOPPER® meal.
“The BURGER KING® brand is known for welcoming all guests and putting the crown on everyone’s head. This Halloween, people who came dressed like a clown ate like a king!” – said Marc Kallassi, General Manager for BURGER KING® Lebanon.
The campaign was launched on social media and included a ‘very scary’ video, directed by award-winning filmmaker Rodrigo Cortés – known for movies like `Buried´ starring Ryan Reynolds and `Red Lights´ starring Robert De Niro and Cillian Murphy.
