According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 5% of the world’s population have hearing disabilities. In the objective of helping the Lebanese community with hearing disabilities, Kiehl’s Lebanon decided to launch a CSR campaign in partnership with IRAP (Institut de Reeducation Audio-Phonétique) to draw awareness and gather funds.
During the months of February and March 2020, with every Kiehl’s purchased product, 5,000 LBP will be donated to IRAP, one of the country’s NGOs that support children with hearing disabilities. Funds will support in improving the teaching methods enhancing their cognitive and linguistic skills.
An emotional video was developed to shed the light on the importance of hearing, stressing on the fact that we should not take it for granted. Five Lebanese influencers supported this campaign and participated in the video: @AnthonyTouma, @LyneGhandour, Mira Hasbini (@thekoolmum), Dana Khairallah (@ivysays), and Karl Abi Aad (@duckthediet).
