‘THE ART OF SLOW’ Pop up Show will be held from June 16TH-25 from 12 PM to 8 PM at ARTHAUS, Gemmayze, Beirut.
Slow living is a mindset whereby you curate a more meaningful and conscious lifestyle taking a step back from today’s chaotic life in the tumultuous city of Beirut to embrace an everyday simpler life, a slower pace savoring every moment.
The Pop up Show will present the thematic collection prepared by the 4th selection of Artists and Artisans around the theme of ‘The Art of Slow’. The Season Four Program groups 12 emergent and confirmed Artists and Artisans in addition to the Show Guest: the Artist Mona Trad Dabaji who will be presenting a selection of her Art pieces. The show will present as well the late Gulene Torossian Der Boghossian undisclosed sculptures that will be revealed next to her daughter’s paintings. Few Artists from the sub-initiative Artists of Beirut Boutique will be as well participating with Signature artistic pieces.
The Pop up show eclectic collection will feature more than 60 Artworks made of various artistic techniques: Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Collage, Digital, Ceramics, and Concrete art.
The Show will also feature cultural and artistic animations:
*A Drawing workshop with the show guest the Artist Mona Trad Dabaji on Monday 19th June from 11.00 AM till
12.30 PM
*A thematic conversation with the Artists around the theme of ‘La Slow Life under Beirut sun’ ” moderated by the author, editor and journalist Tania Mehanna on Wednesday 21th June at 11.00 AM and transmitted live on social media.
*A Relaxation Session presented by the Artist & Yoga Teacher Monique Chebli on Friday 23rd June from 11 AM till 12PM.
Finally and as per Artists of Beirut Mission, the Show will be providing support to Beirut restoration with part of proceeds going this season to “BEIRUT HERITAGE INITIATIVE” NGO.

In addition to the Guest MONA TRAD DABAJI and the late GULENE TOROSSIAN DER BOGHOSSIAN’S undisclosed ARTWORKS.
The Artists of the AOB Boutique sub-initiative participating to the Show are: PAULETTE EID, KARIN HANTES, NEVINE MATTAR, NICOLE MEZHER and MICHELE ZEHIL.
‘Artists of Beirut’ Initiative was launched by Carole Ayoub & Yara Jahchan in September 2020.
Artists of Beirut is a socially responsible initiative and concept aiming at growing Lebanon’s creative economy by promoting and developing Lebanese women artists & artisans creative talents while supporting the restoration and preservation of Beirut city’s cultural heritage.
