Beirut, March 10, 2020: Based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health regarding the preventive measures in the fight against the emerging coronavirus – “COVID-19”, “Sacré-Coeur” Hospital has taken the necessary actions in preparedness for any emergency.
In this context, the “Sacré-Coeur” Hospital has held a series of awareness raising conferences and workshops on the subject matter within the framework of precautionary measures aimed at limiting the spread of the virus.
The gatherings focused on educating the hospital staff, especially those who are in direct contact with patients and hospital visitors, about the mode of transmission and the infection control procedures to reduce the risk of infection. Also, they have been trained to control any suspected or confirmed case. Furthermore, “Sacré-Coeur” Hospital reports no cases of coronavirus among its patients so far.
