Major transformation in the Harley Street Health District will expand access to advanced diagnostics, preventative healthcare and personalised health screening in central London
Prime Health has announced a £2 million investment in its Queen Anne Street centre, including the installation of a new Siemens Healthineers MAGNETOM Lumina 3T MRI system and the expansion of its preventative healthcare and personalised health assessment services.
Located at 45 Queen Anne Street, in the heart of London’s Harley Street Health District, the modernised centre will be officially unveiled on Thursday 24 September 2026 following an extensive programme of refurbishment.
Supported by enhanced imaging software, the new 3T MRI system will significantly strengthen Prime Health’s imaging capabilities and support a wider range of diagnostic examinations and clinical pathways.
The £2 million investment also encompasses the wider redevelopment of the site, creating a modern, discreet and premium environment designed around the patient experience.
Alongside advanced diagnostic imaging, Prime Health is expanding its preventative health services, developing comprehensive health assessment and screening pathways that bring together medical assessment and diagnostic testing. These services will be delivered by a core team of GPs, consultant specialists and healthcare professionals, supporting a more holistic approach to patient care.
Steve Bird, Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Our £2 million investment in Queen Anne Street reflects our commitment to developing high quality diagnostic and imaging services to create an exceptional experience for patients and referrers.
The introduction of our new Siemens Healthineers MAGNETOM Lumina 3T MRI, alongside the transformation of the centre and expansion of our preventative health services, represents an exciting next chapter for Prime Health.
The Queen Anne Street centre is an important part of our growth strategy with our ambition to establish this centre as a leading destination for advanced diagnostics along with a proactive approach to wellbeing.
The transformed centre will support both self pay and referred patients and Prime Health will continue to develop relationships with consultants, GPs, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals across London. We are delighted that we can bring even more services to support our growing patient cohort and I am excited to see how this centre can continue to support even more patients.”
Vanessa Robinson, Centre Manager at Prime Health Queen Anne Street, said:
“We have an incredible opportunity to create something really special at Queen Anne Street.
Our vision is to combine sophisticated diagnostics and preventative healthcare with an exceptionally personal level of service. We want patients to feel that they have a team around them, helping them understand their health and where necessary, connecting them quickly with the right clinical expertise and next steps.
We are also building strong relationships with consultants, GPs and healthcare partners across London so that Queen Anne Street becomes a centre both patients and referrers know they can trust. I’m incredibly excited to open the doors in September and showcase our new facilities.”
Alistair Piggot, Business Area Lead for MR at Siemens Healthineers Great Britain and Ireland added:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Prime Health to support the transformation of its Queen Anne Street centre. MAGNETOM Lumina is designed to combine the diagnostic capabilities of 3T MRI with intelligent technologies that enhance speed, consistency and patient comfort.
Its advanced imaging software, AI-powered reconstruction and BioMatrix technology will help Prime Health deliver efficient, high-quality examinations, supporting its ambition to provide more personalised care while equipping clinicians with the information they need to make confident decisions.”
Prime Health will officially unveil the centre at an invitation only event on Thursday 24 September 2026 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The event will bring together clinicians, healthcare partners, referrers and invited guests and will provide an opportunity to tour the new facilities, meet the Prime Health team and see the centre’s new diagnostic capabilities.
