Dubai, UAE: 19 December 2019 – Emirates, the Official Sponsor of the Los Angeles Dodgers, welcomed Los Angeles Dodgers baseball players, Max Muncy and Austin Barnes to Dubai last week. The players scored a home run as they engaged with young baseball fans across the city including a surprise visit to the American School of Dubai and the Dubai Little League Park.

While in Dubai, Max Muncy and Austin Barnes paid a special visit to the American School of Dubai to surprise students on the last day of term. Young baseball fans were treated to an exclusive Q&A session, received autograph signings and learned batting tips and techniques.
The day continued at the Rugby Sevens Stadium where the Dodgers engaged with Emirates staff and played a friendly match with Emirates corporate cricket team, Fly Emirates. Drawing on the similarities between both sports, the players exchanged fun tips on how to bat like a baseball pro, and how to swing like a cricket legend.
To conclude their visit, the LA Dodgers spent a fun-filled morning at the Dubai Little League Park where young, aspirational baseball players enjoyed a day of mentoring and learning first-rate techniques on how to become a professional baseball player. Kids and families of all ages enjoyed participating in the kids’ clinic, playing friendly games with the players and receiving autographs.
