THURSDAY, MAY 26TH 2016 –Tod’s celebrated the Wave Bag in its Boutique in Beirut with a cocktail party co- hosted by Lana El-Sahely. Guests that attended the glamorous event included personalities from the world of fashion and lifestyle. The highlight of the evening was a focus on the “Art of Leather.” Tod’s presented the beautiful, new Wave bag in its subtle details. Tod’s had organized to ship a “Bancone”, a whole set up with leather samples, threads and special tools. An Italian artisan flew to Beirut to show clients and socialites and portray the expertise of handmade craftsmanship. The artisan mounted a whole Wave handbag on site, stitched pairs of the gommini. Clients and friends were able to follow the detailed attention and care that goes into the Tod’s products. Lana El-Sahely, the fashion and lifestyle blogger accompanied the whole event, receiving socialites. Special guests attended the evening included the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Massimo Marotti, fashion designers Rami Kadi and Hussein Bazaza. Guests enjoyed the showcase of Tod’s latest creations while sipping champagne and indulging on canapé food. Jana was the live DJ on site that kept people entertained. Last but not least, Tod’s took the opportunity during this cocktail event to personalize clients items by stamping their initials on their shoes, bags and small leather goods.
