The Bride of Georges Hobeika’s Spring-Summer 2019 Haute Couture collection is a contemporary queen.
She is elegant but seductive, majestic but modern: a truly free woman. Regal splendor characterizes her wedding gown of silk tulle exquisitely embroidered with crystals. 2000 hours of work by a four-person team was required to create this gown, which is accompanied by a majestic veil embroidered with sequins that was produced by three-person team working 1100 hours. Marie-Antoinette and the Versailles Palace inspired the design of this collection.
This gorgeous wedding dress is perfectly reminiscent of the captivating art and romance of this era that was made all the more beautiful by the shimmer of Versailles’ Galerie des Glaces.
