This was announced at the 23rd Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show organised at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Showcased at WETEX, Daimler’s innovative electric truck – FUSO eCanter – will be moved to ENOC’s Service Station of the Future at the Expo 2020 Dubai site. eCanter is Japan’s pioneering series-produced electric light duty truck (LDT) and is an emission-free transportation solution, which is virtually noiseless. The vehicle delivers increased comfort for drivers, reduces maintenance costs for operators, and embodies a more sustainable option for urban mobility.

The eCanter trucks are the first battery electric light-duty truck in-series production FUSO with the longest experience in industry. With zero emissions, the eCanter trucks are ideal for inner city distribution. These trucks are perfect for customers looking for sustainable transport solutions. The FUSO eCanter is also a key pillar within the Daimler Truck AG’s electric strategy to achieve CO2 neutral ‘tank to wheel’ transportation goal.
This partnership has enabled ENOC Link to showcase the region’s first fully electric light duty truck which comes with various sustainability features including the Aluminum Tanker which is lighter by 30% than normal steel tankers, providing more efficiency. It is also equipped with the latest and most advanced metering solution which connects to the cloud for instant and continuous data transmission.
