Operating under a business licence issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Blend launches its UAE operations as Step prepares to welcome 8,000 attendees, technology companies and leading founders to Dubai.
DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. Blend, the Lebanese-founded event technology and ticketing platform, has officially opened in Dubai under a business licence issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
The company is launching its UAE operations as the official ticketing platform for Step Dubai 2027, taking place on 3 and 4 February 2027. The conference is expected to welcome 8,000 attendees and more than 200 speakers, bringing global and regional technology companies, investors, operators and some of the region’s most ambitious technology founders together in Dubai.
Step Dubai 2027 will begin with events held across the city, followed by its main conference programme at Dubai Internet City, one of the region’s central destinations for technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.
In 2026, Blend attended Step Dubai as part of the audience. One year later, the company returns as the technology platform supporting the official ticketing experience for the 2027 conference. The transition reflects Blend’s growth from a technology company founded in Lebanon into an international event platform serving organizers and audiences across several markets.
Step Dubai connects early-stage and growth-stage founders with investors, global technology companies, product and engineering leaders, corporate innovation teams and ecosystem partners. Its programme includes keynote sessions, founder and investor panels, a startup showcase, a pitch competition, curated investor meetings and events held throughout Dubai.
The conference brings the people building the region’s next generation of technology companies into one ecosystem. It creates a meeting point where founders can access capital, technology companies can discover new ideas and investors can connect with emerging businesses from the Middle East and international markets.
Through Blend, attendees can discover the conference, purchase Step Dubai 2027 tickets and receive their digital access credentials through one connected platform. Blend brings ticketing, payments, digital ticket delivery, attendee communication, access management and organizer operations together across the complete event journey.
The official Step Dubai website directs attendees to Blend to purchase their conference tickets, placing the platform at the centre of the attendee experience for Step Dubai 2027.
For Blend, the Dubai opening represents more than entering a new market. It gives the company a licensed operational base in one of the world’s most active destinations for technology, entrepreneurship, tourism and live events.
Blend began in Lebanon and has since supported international projects in Miami, Montreal and Dubai. Working across different markets has allowed the company to develop technology that can adapt to different audiences, payment environments, venues and event formats.
From its new base in Dubai, Blend will support event organizers, venues and audiences across the UAE and the wider GCC. The company will work across conferences, festivals, exhibitions, workshops, entertainment experiences and large-scale live events that require a connected approach to ticketing and event operations.
Step Dubai 2027 will serve as the first major event in Blend’s Q1 2027 Dubai launch. It also reflects the company’s approach to international growth: entering new markets through real operations, demonstrating its technology in demanding live environments and building long-term relationships with organizers, venues and audiences.
Dubai provides Blend with a strategic foundation for its next stage of growth. The company aims to bring organizers a reliable event technology platform while giving attendees a simple and connected experience, from discovering an event and purchasing a ticket to entering the venue.
With its Dubai operations now established, Blend is preparing to expand its presence across the UAE and the GCC while continuing to support international projects from the Middle East to global markets.
