‘SIMPLE PLEASURES” Collective Art Show will be held from Nov 24th till Dec 2nd from 2 to 7 PM
at Rebirth Beirut, Gemmayze. The Opening will be held on Friday Nov 24th from 5 till 9 PM.
Simple, small pleasures are what give us the power to restore feelings of happiness and positivity. They
can be defined as experiences that are positive, brief, and usually emerge in everyday settings. They
help us be energized and productive and give us perspective and a mood boost in the most challenging
times as the ones we are facing every day in the unstable city of Beirut.
The Collective Art Show will present the collection prepared by a mix of 14 Artists from the four
seasons of Artists of Beirut as well as the Boutique concept Artists around the theme of ‘Simple
Pleasures’. In addition to the Guest of the Season Mona Trad Dabagi and the late Gulene Torossian
Der Boghossian new series of sculptures.

The Collective show eclectic collection will feature more than 50 Artworks made of various artistic
techniques: Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Upcycling, Collage, Photography & Digital.
The Show will also feature artistic animations:
*An “Upcycling Art Workshop” around the Christmas festive theme with the Artist Karin Hantes on
Tuesday 28th Nov from 3-4 PM.
*A Photography Workshop around the Celebration theme presented by the Artist Nada Karam on
Thursday November 30th from 3- 4 PM.
Finally and as per Artists of Beirut Mission, the Show will be helping Beirut city restoration with part of
proceeds going to support “Rebirth Beirut” NGO initiatives.

MAGDA MALKOUN, LAMA MANSOUR, LIANE MATHES RABBATH, NEVINE MATTAR, YARA
SAADE, SARAH SABA, JANINE WEBER-ELMEOUCHY as well as the Boutique Concept Artists
RAMONA MANSOUR and PAULETTE EID.
In addition to the Guest MONA TRAD DABAJI and the late GULENE TOROSSIAN DER
BOGHOSSIAN’S Artworks.
‘Artists of Beirut’ Initiative was launched by Carole Ayoub & Yara Jahchan in September 2020.
Artists of Beirut is a socially responsible initiative and concept aiming at growing Lebanon’s creative
economy by promoting and developing Lebanese women artists & artisans creative talents while
supporting the restoration and preservation of Beirut city’s cultural heritage.
