The third concert of the 2016 musical season at the ESA Georges Audi Auditorium ushers in a partnership with the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music. The four guest soloists (harpsichordist Janna Popkova, flutist Alin Tataru, oboist Oleg Balanuta and cellist Roman Storojenko) are all professors at the conservatory; three of them also perform as soloists in the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra. Alain Pâris is no stranger to the orchestra, which he has regularly conducted for the past fifteen years. He was then keen on inviting some of his musicians to showcase their talent in the chamber music repertoire, with an exclusively baroque program of works by Haendel, J.S. Bach and Telemann.
