July 7th – July 28th, 2022 Artlab Beirut #PinThatBunny Gosha Beshlyan presents their first solo exhibition as part of CATAPULT.visual’arts Through stories that animate both real and fictional characters, Gosha Beshlyan reflects on the restless human spirit that is inevitably left behind, to then rejoin the flow of the world. In their first solo exhibition, Beshlyan draws on themes of fragility and renewal, animating mischievous characters – real and fictional representations, animals and other elements are the vehicles of this modern allegory that carries subjects of love, loss, and virtue… in a kinder temper. Thirty drawings and etchings fill the gallery with uncontrolled movements and reactions; in turn, the exhibition invites the viewer to pause and reflect on personal and collective flows. |
