Cirque Du Soleil – Varekai

Route 69 Production held a press conference at ABC Ashrafieh to launch Cirque Du Soleil’s Varekai show taking place at Forum de Beyrouth from 7 till 11 Septem 2016. The day featured Clare Oconnell – Company Manager of Cirque du Soleil, Mr. Antoine Haswani president EMM Williams Production and Mr. Claude Tahchy from SOLICET, Mr.Karim Kabche owner Carrera Sur Producciones; as well as many media, sponsors and supporters.
The press conference started with a warm welcoming from Clare O’connell as she officially announced the Cirque Du Soleil tour’s arrival to Lebanon this September, also detailing the show story. She expressed that Lebanon became a market on the touring plan of Cirque du Soleil shows in the Mediterranean area and the great bond between Cirque du Soleil and EMM.
Mr. Antoine Haswani (EMM) expressed his enthusiasm for the new Cirque Du Soleil upcoming show “Varekai”, he confirmed the show will run for only one week due to the tight touring plan. He also introduced an early bird period (until end of June) offering 15% on certain categories to encourage very affordable prices and make the show accessible to more audience.
Mr. Karim Kabche – Owner of Carerra Sur Producciones spoke about his anticipation and his believe in this project and encouraging everyone to support such shows in Lebanon. Venezuelan of Lebanese origin, Mr. Kabche stressed the importance of backing Lebanon’s image in the international cultural scene.
Mr. Tahchy, CEO of Route 69 Productions concluded by thanking all the partners, sponsors, media’s constant support and the team of SOLICET who’s efforts were essential for an encore for all Cirque du Soleil’s chapter in Lebanon.
At the end Champagne and Cocktails and a video featured a few words from Cirque Du Soleil’s cast expressing their excitement about their upcoming visit to Lebanon.
