Dubai, UAE, 3 December 2025: “All That’s Left of You” directed by Palestinian Emmy Nominated filmmaker Cherien Dabis, trailer released, ahead of its Arab world premiere within the official competition of the fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival, scheduled to screen on December 5. Followed right after with a screening in the Marrakech International Film Festival on December 6 and a theatrical release across the Arab World, starting in Jordan and releasing across the region exclusively on OSN+, bringing one of the year’s most internationally acclaimed Arab films to audiences across the region…
“All That’s Left of You” is Jordan’s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category, with the distinguished participation from global stars Javier Bardem and Mark Ruffalo as executive producers.
The film was shot over a year and a half in live locations across Ramallah, Jordan, Cyprus, and Greece. It had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, where it was met with wide critical acclaim, it also had the European premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. All That’s Left of You went on to have a quite astounding festival run where it won multiple awards. Among its most notable accolades are the Golden Gate Award and the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the San Francisco Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award for Best International Feature at the Sydney Film Festival — one of a total of eight audience awards the film has received so far. It also won Best Film and Best Screenplay at the Malaysia International Film Festival.
All That’s Left of You follows a Palestinian teenager who gets swept into a protest in the Occupied West Bank and experiences a moment of violence that rocks his family. The film unfolds as his mother recounts the political and emotional threads that led to that fateful moment. Spanning seven decades, the film traces the hopes and heartaches of one uprooted family, bearing witness to the scars of dispossession and the enduring legacy of survival.
Starring Palestinian powerhouses Saleh Bakri, Mohammed Bakri, Adam Bakri, Maria Zreik and Muhammad Abed Elrahman alongside director Cherien Dabis as female lead. Cinematography by Christopher Aoun (Capernaum), Costumes by Zeina Soufan with editor Tina Baz and original score by Amine Bouhafa.
